Here, at Be Home, we understand how your house can become more of an obstacle as you age or have a disability or impairment. We believe that with adaptability and Universal Design, your home can become safer for you by offering the assistance you may need to remain as independent as possible. Whether that is adapting your current home, assisting you in finding a new home to adapt or preparing your home for a loved one to reside, we can help!
During the free initial consultation, we will tour your home identifying hazards and make recommendations for modifications to appropriately assist you, with considerations for future functional mobility decline, as well. We will then provide this list for you to review and determine which changes you are comfortable with us modifying to enhance your quality of life.
Wanting to downsize/relocate to another home?
We can help with that too! As a licensed Real Estate Salesperson and Seniors Real Estate Specialist, we can assist you with the sale of your current home and finding you a new home that is one-level or would require minimal modifications to adapt to your functional mobility.
Leaving a Rehab/Skilled Nursing Facility and would like assistance with preparing your home for your return?
We can help with that too! When being discharged from a stay at a Rehab facility, going back home where there may be no wall bars, raised toilet seats and potential hazards that affect your mobility, can be daunting. We can help prepare your home for your safe return. No need for all your hard work and dependability on the nursing staff or hospital grade equipment used during your stay, to make you feel reluctant to return home. We want your home to be ready for your return and you to be able to maintain the highest level of independence possible, so you can Be Home …and stay home! *Offering adaptive equipment set up that was recommended by your Rehab team.
